COMING ALONGSIDE ONE ANOTHER
We started this discussion during Sunday School on April 18, 2021 after some things said during the service about the need to encourage fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in putting on the new man and putting aside the old. This week, we’re exploring a bit deeper this subject of coming alongside one another as we think about what the Apostle Paul writes in Galatians 6:2.
PURPOSEFUL STRENGTH – ROMANS 15
And we’re back…in the book of Romans. Paul talks about purposeful strength in chapter 15. He encourages those who are strong to not use their strength for selfish means but to build up the body of Christ, specifically those who are weaker. The strong in faith are to imitate their Savior who gave us his rights for the benefit of others. What a challenge in an age of selfishness!
