Of the several elements we talked about on Sunday, one of them was the redefinition of commonly used words in Christianity to something entirely other than their original definition and understanding. This tactic has been deceptive in progressive Christianity and lead to the deconstruction of people’s faith. I found it interesting this week that in the course of a couple of days I ran across two articles addressing the importance of the church. This past Sunday, I preached from Isaiah 1. My sermon was titled: “State of the Nation Address”. What do these have to do with one another?
