Repentance and Opposition

Sunday, we worked through Ezra and and focused on the litmus tests of genuine repentance. We skipped on last point though that happens to revolve around one of the most difficult verses in Ezra. The story of Cain & Abel. As much as it is often told as a children’s story, it really is anything but that. One brother murdering another. Yet as we look deeper, we see the problems of the heart, the tragedy sin is causing, and a faithful God who continues to call people to repentance and faith.

As I was reading through Joshua 11-12 today, I noticed a phrase that I have seen in the New Testament.
