Grief is a journey. Each of us are on a unique grief journey because relationships are unique. There are enough common elements in grief that people on the journey can be a help, comfort and encouragement to one another. We welcome you to join our group – it will be helpful.

ADELL CRAFT & FUNDRAISER EVENT

9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

One of our neighbors sadly lost their home to a fire in the fall of 2022. In appreciation for the efforts of first responders’ in their time of crisis, they wanted to do something to give back to the Adell community. We were happy to offer our facility as a place to hold this event. The donations toward and proceeds from the event will be used to replace outdated or broken fire hydrants in our village. Annual Hike & Chili Supper

3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Meeting in the church parking lot at 2:30pm to carpool (if needed) to our usual hiking trail to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation and the fellowship of one another (trails are flat and able to be enjoyed by all ages). We’ll return to the church building after the hike for delicious, homemade goodies. We’d love to have you join us!

One of the elements of comfort is having someone who understands. While every relational loss is unique, there are common aspects that we all share. Those who have attended the grief share classes have found understanding and help from classmates as well as the video / workbook series. We welcome you to join the grief journey with us.
