Your will be done. Can we honestly say that? Is that our prayer and mindset everyday? That not matter what comes our way that we willingly surrender our own will, our own plans, to the will of the Father? In 1 John 2:6, John calls us to walk as Jesus walked. As we read from John 12 today, we get a glimpse of what that looks like. Jesus lived in complete surrender to the will of the Father, to the plan set forth in eternity past. We are called as his children, as slaves of Christ to follow suit. Let’s clothe ourselves with this attitude, this mindset daily responding in faith: “God I trust you. God I know you have my best in mind. God I know you are working things out for your greater glory. God I know nothing compares to the future that awaits me. Father, may your will be done.”
